The Seven Keys to Better Health in Retirement
Key Elements You Need in order to
IMPROVE
Your Health Condition to Enjoy Your Later Years!

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been enjoying retirement for many years, or find yourself a long way from that retirement date wishing it were here sooner.  No matter how much money you’ve saved for those golden years, we each need one more element in order to enjoy the fruits of our labors.  That element is Good Health.  Or to put it another way, we want Quality-of-Life in order to enjoy our retirement.

Consider this fact:  We expend much of our health acquiring our wealth in our younger years, only to spend much of our wealth keeping up our health in our latter years.

That is a counter-productive strategy if there ever was one!

Is there any way to have this cake and eat it too?  Can I actually enter retirement with good health and keep it so my quality-of-life and health last as long as possible?

I’m here to tell you It Is Possible!  But there is a catch.  It won’t happen unless you take proactive steps to ensure that you get there in good shape.  In the final analysis it’s up to you.  You either take positive steps that move you in the right direction.  Or you take the easy way out, float along in life, and end up less than where you want to be.

I trust the factors revealed in this report will motivate you in that positive direction as they are motivating me.

In this report I will be discussing the major issue of having an enjoyable retirement because your health is good.  I will share with you the key elements that define a healthy, quality-of-life retirement.  And I will reveal to you a critical factor that helps ensure quality-of-life health in our golden years.

Besides the free content I’m sharing, I’m also making you another free offer that will help you implement what I’m suggesting in this paper.  That offer is “embedded” in this paper, so please read on!

Whatever your motivation for requesting this Free Report,  I know it will open some new doors for you to walk through to help you make any changes you know are necessary to get you to where you want to be.  In fact, you will undoubtedly be surprised at the direction this Report takes and the little known Secrets about securing a healthy retirement that are now starting to come to light.

So why don’t you print this paper out immediately so you can read it and think about the content?  You’ll also have some good web links as well as our contact info available in hard copy then without having to dig these out of the computer.

My Personal Story

My name is Dave Grissen.  I presently live in Sunriver, Central Oregon, and am the President of a non-profit organization, Life Impact, Inc. that provides care services for international workers.  In that context I got interested in health – first my own, and then how to help others.  Therefore I created the “Health Impact Team” to bring health solutions to people like you and me and help create better health for others, one person at a time.

My wife and I, and our children lived and worked in some stressful situations overseas for twenty years out of a career of 28 years in international work.  In that context we had some health issues develop.

My biggest issue was weight gain that was leading me toward Type 2 diabetes, high cholestoral, heart issues, and joint problems.  I’m on the losing weight edge at the moment with a loss of 40 pounds since returning from overseas in 2003, and could give you some help on this issue, if you are in the same boat as I was.

It is a fact, however, that carrying around extra weight also saps personal energy, creates stress on the skeletal system, and moves one in the opposite direction of healthy latter years.  So being serious about getting rid of extra pounds is one of the strategies of enjoying a healthy retirement.  It surely isn’t quality of life if I have to poke insulin into my body because of diabetes I acquired by not taking off those extra pounds when my doctor first raised the red flag!

Important as weight loss is, however, it’s not the strategy I want to reveal in this report.   That’s a different Report and solution than what we’re talking about today.

When we got back from our overseas assignment, we were just turning 60.  I noticed that the wear and tear from intercontinental travel, stressful job, weight gain, and just plain old aging, was taking its toll on my energy level.  By the time dinner came around at night, I was burned out from my heavy daily schedule and wanted to vegetate.  Sitting on a couch with a bag of popcorn and watching TV was my nightly regime.  I loved to read, but would fall asleep after covering a couple pages.  A cup of coffee after dinner would give me a little boost, but not enough to change my overall situation.

I needed more energy.  That was a fact.  Productivity was down.  Motivation was dropping.  Life was becoming a drag because I couldn’t conjure up the strength to push forward with vigor and enthusiasm.  If I was in this condition already at 60 years old, imagine what I would be like at 70 or 80.  Looking ahead into my retirement years didn’t seem so “golden.”

Then we had an interesting event happen in our lives.

But that’s getting ahead of the story.  Let’s dive back into the discussion on a Healthful Retirement first.  Here’s a key question for you . . .

How Would You Define a “Healthy” Retirement Lifestyle?

In my opinion, there are at least Seven, perhaps Eight Elements or Keys that define a Healthy Retirement.  I think you will agree with my assessment here, and can probably add a few more of your own.  In fact, if something is important in your life that I haven’t mentioned, please send that to me so I can incorporate it into this list.  E-mail me at:  healthimpact4u@gmail.com.

1

I believe the first element that creates an enjoyable retirement is the element of personal energy.

It seems that some people naturally have energy to burn.  Their metabolism runs high.  We just met a couple in their 80’s who came to the Oasis, our home for International workers.  They were gone day and night doing a multitude of interesting things.  They seemed to have a great amount of natural energy – although we didn’t talk about how much they slept, or what supplements they might have been taking to enhance that aspect of their lives.

But the reality is, that if we DON’T have enough energy for our day, we won’t enjoy our retirement time as much as we could.  So one of the things I want to do myself to ensure enjoyment in my later years is to somehow keep up my personal energy.

2

A second element that’s very important for my body is to have a strong immune system to ward off illness and disease.  What advantage is there for me if I’ve got a lot of time to play golf, but I’m fighting with colds and flu all the time?  And if my body’s immune system is weak, I could end up contracting some major disease that ends my quality-of-life retirement in a moment.

It’s true that I don’t have any control over what germs or viruses may be entering my body at any point in time.  But I do have some control over how strong my immune system becomes and stays.  We’ll reveal a way that you can strengthen your immune system later in this report.

3

Another element that’s vital to a health-y retirement is the reality of having a very strong liver function.  A Healthy Liver?  Since when do we speak or consider our livers?  This may sound like I’m just trying to put in some elements to make my report longer.  But consider this . . .

Which organ in your body is tasked with getting all the heavy metals and toxins out of your body?  You guessed it – your liver!

And what is the reality of our environment and living situation today?  You and I are taking in major toxins every minute of every day.  Starting with our first deep breath in the morning when we first awake, to that midnight snack we put into our stomachs just before hitting the rack again at night.  The air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, the drugs we take – all create toxins in our body that MUST BE ELIMINATED in order for you and I to stay healthy.

Our little livers are the washing machine of our bodies.  A healthy liver creates a healthy body.  And a healthy body is essential to enjoying our later years.  So it’s not “over-the-top” to say that a critical element in enjoying our retirement years is a healthy liver!  (By the way, our body’s washing machine needs some good detergent to work effectively.  I share with you what that detergent is later in this report!)

4

A fourth element to consider as important is quicker recovery times from surgeries, injuries, or strenuous exercise.

We are presently living in a “retirement” community.  Most of the permanent residents in Sunriver or in their mid-50’s or older.  The vast majority are retired and enjoying that phase of their lives.

Every week we hear of another person who is heading into the hospital for tests of some unknown physical problem, or surgery to correct an already known physical issue.   Others with good health at the moment , are out on the golf course, tennis courts, or health club working out strenuously pushing their bodies in ways that often cause their muscles to rebel.

With surgery, or strenuous exercise comes tissue inflammation.  If the inflammation hangs on for a long time, recovery lingers.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to strengthen the body so inflammation could be dealt with quickly.  We will strain our bodies as we get older.  We will need surgery in many ways, shapes, and forms as we age.  But to deal a quick blow to inflammation will help keep enjoyment in our retirement.

Recently I was in Slovakia checking out a facility where we could set up another Oasis.  While taking pictures I made a quick turn-around and my right leg fell into a square well hole 4 feet deep.  My left knee came down on the cement floor taking the weight of my body and smashed hard on the inside of the knee.  It felt like it was broken, but I hobbled around for the day carrying on our purpose.  The next day it felt much better, and when I got back to the USA 4 days later I had an x-ray.  It was not broken, only badly bruised.  I wore a brace to keep it straight and allow it to heal.

Here’s why I’m telling this story.  How bad do you think the swelling was from this type of smashing fall?  It was very minimal.  It never did swell up to the extent it should have.  Why?  Because the inflammation was controlled, and the recovery time was quickened.  (I’ll explain how this happens further on in this report.)

5

A fifth key, akin to the element of control of inflammation, is to live with a lessening effect of aches and pains.

How debilitating aches and pains can be.  How they suck the joy out of life!  Yet they are a reality of life as we age.  Someone has said, “If you are over 40 and you don’t have any aches and pains when you wake up – it means you’re dead!”

Many of our aches and pains are caused by inflammation.  Even ailments like arthritis with their joint aches and pains are caused by tissue inflammation.

If there would be a way to control inflammation, much of our pain would be allieviated.  So to gain more enjoyment out of our retirement, eliminating aches and pains would be a critical factor, right?

6

Another critical element allowing us to enjoy retirement is mental focus and clear thinking.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have fewer “duh” moments?

The fact is that our minds can stay sharp as we age.  One of our responsibilities in that process is to exercise it.  A steady diet of TV watching is too passive to accomplish that purpose unless you watch a game show that tests your trivia knowledge.  Crossword puzzles, Soduku, reading, other types of mental games, and challenging conversations and discussions can all help to exercise the gray matter.

However, there is also an organic component to mental focus and clear thinking – the brain cells, or the gray matter itself.  If we could somehow discover a way to keep those cells healthier and functioning at top performance, your gray matter itself would be in good shape!  This reality would more effectively support the thinking processes you need to enjoy a quality retirement.

7

The seventh key to a healthy, quality-of-life retirement is a Good Night’s Sleep!  You can’t enjoy retirement if you are not sleeping well, right?  Lying in bed awake at night, means you are sleeping in your easy chair during the day.  Not a good situation when you want to be out and about with friends or spouse having fun.

But how do I know if I’m getting a good night’s sleep?

Studies are showing that good sleep is not based on “time” as we usually think of it.  Rather, it involves two requisites that the existing data on sleep supports:

1. Awakening refreshed, alert and ready for the day, without an alarm clock!
2. Remembering your dreams. (And we hope they were pleasant!)

So, rather than measuring good sleep by a statistical average of sleep, for example 8 hours, each person can decide for themselves if their body had sufficient sleep to repair yesterday’s damage and restore their body’s balance.

By the way, studies have shown that aging is related directly to your cumulative sleep deficit.   And that motivates me to add another factor related to retirement enjoyment – the issue of aging.

For Good Measure, Let’s Add One More . . .
8

How long would you like to live before pine box time?  If your answer is like mine, you would say, “I’d like to live as long as I can with a good measure of quality-of-life.  If I have to lay in a hospital bed breathing with an oxygen tank, and be waited on hand and foot, I’d opt for the pine box and what’s beyond that!”

So an eighth critical element for an enjoyable retirement besides just good, overall health, which the above 7 points are defining, is to Slow Down the Aging Process!

Much has been written about aging and many studies in various areas have been done.  In fact there is an organization called The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), which is the academic leader in the worldwide movement in life enhancement and life extension encompassing over 100,000 physicians from 90 countries.

For example, in a classic article written about the aging process, Aging: A Theory Based on Free Radical and Radiation Chemistry, Dr. Denham Harman, from the Donner Laboratory of Biophysics and Medical Physics, at the University of California, Berkeley, concludes, “Aging finds that the degenerative diseases associated with it are attributed basically to the deleterious side attacks of free radicals on cell constituents and on the connective tissues.   The free radicals probably arise largely through reactions involving molecular oxygen catalyzed in the cell by the oxidative enzymes and in the connective tissues by traces of metals such as iron, cobalt, and manganese.”

More recent books written on the subject of aging and incorporating newer studies in this area, reach another amazing conclusion:  That it is the power of antioxidants, especially one called “glutathione,” that help retard the aging process.  Why can this be?  Because our antioxidants were created in our bodies to neutralize the free radicals that Dr. Harman is talking about!

Jean Carper in her book, Stop Aging Now!, says, "You must get your levels of GSH (glutathione) up if you want to keep your youth and live longer. High levels of GSH predict good health and a long life.  Low levels predict early disease and death."

Dr. Earl Mindel, in his book, What You Should Know About The Super Antioxidant Miracle, says, "We literally cannot survive without this miracle antioxidant  -- glutathione."

And again in another recent book, The Immune System Cure, Lorna R. Vanderhaeghe and Patrick JD Bouic say, “No other antioxidant is as important to overall health as glutathione. It is the regenerator of immune cells and the most valuable detoxifying agent in the body.  Low levels are associated with early aging and even death.”

The Journal of Clinical Epidemiology, 47:1021-26, published in 1994 made this statement about high antioxidant levels and the issue of aging:  “It is well known that aging is accompanied by a precipitous fall in glutathione levels.  Lower glutathione levels are implicated in many diseases associated with aging, including cataracts, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's atherosclerosis and others.”

Finally, Dr. Robert Keller, renowned researcher, medical professional and expert on antioxidants, has shown in his research that a number of markers of aging all reverse themselves into positive territory IF our glutathione levels can be increased and remain high.

His recent study showed that with a particular oral glutathione optimizer, the following medical markers related to the aging process were all improved.  So for you medical scientists and doctors who understand the symbols, here are the markers:  IGF-1; DHEA; +NFa; Cardiac CRP; and QOL (SF32).

These experts seem to agree that it is possible to live longer with a higher quality-of-life, IF we can keep our antioxidant levels up, especially glutathione.  But is it possible to keep up our antioxidant levels?  Can we push off the pine box a while longer, deny Father Time some satisfaction, and stay out on the tennis court longer in our four-score and ten years of life?

I hope that by this point you are not tired from reading all of this information, but are getting geared up to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!   The critical question is:  “Is there a way to move my body in the direction of gaining these critical elements that increase my quality-of-life, giving me a better chance of enjoying my golden years – even if I didn’t find my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?”

Well, I didn’t write this paper to tell you, NO!  There is a YES to that question.  There is a way you can thrust your body into this positive direction.  And the key to do this is found within your body itself!  Can’t beat that, can you?  The Key to an Enjoyable Retirement is found within your own Body!!!  So look no further.  Here’s how it works . . .

The Key to an Enjoyable Retirement
is Found Within Your Body Itself!

This “Inner Body” Key is an Amazing Antioxidant!

How would you define an anti-oxidant?

Today we are being bombarded concerning the importance of antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin D3 and a number of others in foods and nutritional supplements.  There are also a number of other claims about exceptional antioxidants coming from exotic plants, bushes and berries in this far-away dangerous jungle or that remote river basin where pythons lurk in the trees.

But whatever the claims, any of those antioxidants we might purchase to ingest, like your daily vitamin C pill, pale in significance compared to those our bodies create every day of our lives in our own cells.

These internally produced antioxidants, although few in number, are far more powerful and far more prevalent than anything we might ingest.

What are these powerful, body-producing antioxidants?  There are four main ones:  Glutathione, Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Catalase, and Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10).  Of these four, the multi-talented Glutathione reigns as the king or queen of our antioxidants.

Why Do We Need Antioxidants?

To understand the importance of antioxidants for our bodies, consider the analogy of a fire in your fireplace.  What does that do?  It warms you up with its heat and brightens your mood as the flames dance among the logs.  In a real sense, that process is like our cellular mitochondrial energy production. (ATP)

Our food intake is like the logs on a fire providing us the source of energy.  The dancing flames are similar to the electron transport chain creating energy.  And the ashes that remain after energy is created by the burning logs, are like the free radicals produced through the energy producing process in our cells.

Now imagine how delightful it would be to have the warmth of the fire and the dance of the flames without the annoyance (damage) of cleaning out the ashes in our fireplace the next morning.

Although not totally analogous, the major function of Glutathione is to clean up or neutralize the free radicals (ashes or sludge) in our cells and prevent damage to adjacent molecules.  Or to tie into the washing machine (liver) analogy mentioned earlier, glutathione is the detergent that cleans out the toxins and heavy metals.

What Is “Glutathione?”

Imagine a single item in your home that could thoroughly clean it, wash your clothes, purify the air you breathe, protect you against tainted food, and defend you and your family from a criminal attack?

That product doesn’t exist yet for the homemaker, but for us as physical creatures, one of these amazing products CAN BE FOUND IN EVERY CELL IN OUR BODIES!  You guessed it – it’s Glutathione!  It is a tripeptide, (3-amino acid protein-like structure) composed of glutamic acid, cysteiene and glycine, and is arguably the body’s most powerful antioxidant.

It is found in every cell of the body.  It is particularly concentrated in the LIVER which is the main organ for “detoxification.”  It is also found in the SPLEEN which is the main organ related to our immune defense system.  And it is additionally found in the largest organ of our bodies, our skin!

How Does “Glutathione” Help Keep Us Strong & Healthy?

Glutathione reaches concentrations that are thousands of times that of the commonly advertised vitamins such as C, E, and A.  And it has other multiple functions that include the following purposes,

•    Transports proteins between cells and among the compartments of a cell.

•    Detoxifies heavy metals, pesticides, food preservatives and environmental pollutants among others AFTER the liver detoxifies them by changing them into “Free Radicals.”

•    Activates the immune system’s first responders to attack the invader and protect it from self-annihilation as free radicals are generated.

•    Regenerates a wide variety of other antioxidants.

This antioxidant is the most concentrated and important intracellular (inside the cell) thiol with low molecular weight, small size, and found in all mammalian cells, primed to neutralize free radicals as the best free-radical trap in humans!

And if this weren’t enough to justify its importance, probably its major function is as the MASTER ANTIOXIDANT.  It is the one that is above all for this reason:  All other antioxidants except antioxidant enzymes, BECOME FREE RADICALS THEMSELVES after doing their work of quenching a free radical.

In other words, other antioxidants like vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin A, need to be neutralized again.  Guess what exists in our bodies to accomplish this task?  You guessed it – Glutathione!  That’s why it’s the Master Antioxidant.

Glutathione functions as an antioxidant and an antitoxin, protecting us from the ravages of our increasingly toxic environment and our own foibles.  In addition, it is a protector of our immune defense system and a promoter of efficient blood flow and production.

One could argue that Glutathione’s position alone, as the most concentrated antioxidant in the human body, would crown it as the Master Antioxidant.  But science demands proof not logic.  Of course, absolute scientific proof is beyond the realm of experimental possibility but the following unique characteristics of Glutathione (GSH) in the antioxidant universe offer additional strong evidence of its primacy.

•    GSH is the most concentrated intracellular antioxidant.

•    More than 6% of the total energy production (ATP) of the whole body may be used to synthesize and regulate intracellular glutathione levels.

•    GSH, alone in the antioxidant world, recycles directly and indirectly a variety of other antioxidants including vitamins C, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin E and vitamin A.

•    GSH is the only non-enzyme antioxidant that does not itself become a free radical after it has quenched a free radical.

•    GSH not only acts as a multifunctional antioxidant itself, but is an essential component of antioxidant enzymes including glutathione perioxidases and the genetically determined family of glutathione transferases.

There are many more complex chemical and biological reasons why Glutathione is the Master Oxidant.  And it’s fascinating to look at the evidence of how Glutathione affects our aging process.  If you were looking for the “Fountain of Youth” and not looking toward Glutathione, your search has taken you to the wrong location.  I’ll be sharing more of this evidence with you as time goes on through periodic e-mails you’ll receive from me.  So stay tuned!

A Medical Paradigm Shift Concerning Glutathione?

Glutathione was discovered more than a century ago, but still languishes in the shadows of mainstream medicine, even though over 77,000 scientific studies have been published in English literature alone.

(Note:  Interested in doing some research yourself? Check out the National Library of Medicine:  www.pubmed.com)

Medicine has not emphasized Glutathione’s importance for a couple reasons.

First because most of the articles on Glutathione involve scientific research which most practicing physicians are just too busy to read.  And secondly because the medical mainstream has a difficult time embracing a new paradigm in medical treatment that challenges the present “way of doing things.”

Consider how long it took chiropractic medicine to gain credibility.  Now insurance companies will cover that treatment.  Or further back, consider the contempt Pasteur endured when he proposed his radical theory that germs cause disease.  Or Semmelweis’ notion that hand washing could prevent the transmission of infections.  These groundbreaking discoveries brought their creators derision and professional ostracism – YET THEY ARE TRUE!

But truth does eventually prevail.  Pasteur and Semmelweis are considered medical heroes today for their discoveries, and these discoveries are now considered intuitively obvious.  What sign is now in every public restroom at the location where you wash your hands?  “Please Wash Your Hands!”  What are the authorities telling us to do to prevent catching the swine flu?  “Wash Your Hands, Stupid!”

The reality we face today in the medical mainstream is that nutritional supplements, including antioxidants, are largely still dismissed perhaps because they were embraced first by practitioners of alternative medicine.  And in addition, periodically we hear of the uncovering of some supplement being sold that is a total scam promoted by a quack with fake credentials.  These things hurt the credibility of legitimate supplemental formulas that can help revolutionize the health of our bodies.

Although we may be in the beginning of another paradigm shift in medicine where supplements, as well as drugs, will be “prescribed” for various ailments, by and large mainstream medicine and federal regulatory bodies still dismiss the importance of nutritional supplements.

I have seen however, that more and more doctors of the multiple divisions of medicine are becoming much more open and amenable to supplemental medicine.  Why dismiss something that could help one of their patients?  After all, every doctor I know is still committed to the Hippocratic Oath.

(Note:  I have access to live interviews for ½ hour on Saturday mornings where a doctor talks about glutathione and other antioxidants.  Please call me if you want to get in on one of these:  541/647-4541, or email me and I’ll send you the info: healthimpact4u@gmail.com.)

The Example of Smoking Shows the Importance of Glutathione

Another example we could look at to gain insight into the importance of antioxidants for the body is to consider cigarettes.  The fact is that smoking is the number one preventable cause of a shortened life span and is associated causally with a variety of life-threatening diseases.

Like the fire in the fireplace, smoking one cigarette produces billions, if not trillions, of free radicals.  In addition, cigarettes contain numbers of carcinogens, or cancer-causing substances, as well as inflame the lining of the breathing tubes of the lung, the bronchitis.

In our environment today, however, one does not need to smoke to sustain this damage – unfortunately!  Second-hand smoke as well as other volatile pollutants from household and industrial chemicals, car, truck and airplane exhaust among others, produces a similar, if less intense, effect.

One must question, however, how much is enough to produce disease?  The answer, unfortunately, is quite variable and depends on both genetics and lifestyle habits.  As a result, smoking cigarettes is very similar to playing “Russian Roulette” with your life and being unaware of how many chambers in the gun are loaded.

One factor reported in both human and animal studies to offer some protection against the damage caused by cigarette smoke is elevated lung glutathione levels!  Studies have demonstrated that N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), a glutathione-promoting supplement, reduces the pulmonary and systemic damage caused by exposure to cigarettes.

An interesting side note is that during the tobacco litigation in 1994, the five major cigarette companies incorporated the glutathione-precursor ingredient N-acetyl cysteine as the 599th additive to tobacco in cigarettes.

With all of this 21st century medical backdrop a reality for us, can you imagine how wonderful it would be if somehow, someone would develop a way to increase our cellular glutathione levels so our bodies could handle all of these free-radicals, toxins, and heavy metals.

But do our body’s antioxidants need to be increased?  Isn’t the body producing enough to give us the power we need to stay healthy?

AntiOxidant Power is Depleted in Our Bodies
Through Time and Toxins

Our antioxidant power is first of all an issue of TIME – how long I live.

Studies have shown that the Glutathione levels in our body start to decrease at a rate of 1% per year from the time we turn twenty.  I am presently 65 years old, which means that just because of my age, my Glutathione level is 45% lower than when I was young.   What a significant loss!

Is it any wonder, then, that I feel like sitting on the couch at night and vegetating to a TV show?  I’ve got energy burn “ashes and sludge” filling up my cells and not enough Glutathione to get rid of it.  My cells are not functioning up to full capacity.  Some are probably sick and getting sicker.  I need a “tune-up” at a minimum, but probably an “overhaul” because of the other additional issues that deplete my Glutathione levels even more.

Those additional issues are the TOXINS.

Many of those are entering our bodies through the food we eat.  Pesticides, fertilizers, depleted soil, all contribute a “negative drag” on our antioxidant power when foods containing these are ingested.  Add to this the hormones and antibiotics fed to livestock, and the preservatives added to our fruits and vegetables, and our body has some major “detoxing” to do everyday after every meal we eat.

Depleted Glutathione levels also in our liver and intestines overwhelm our cells with un-removed free radicals.  These issues start the downward spiral to our health and create early aging.  The first result is sick cells.  This spirals into cellular inflammation.  And inflammation, particularly of the intestines, has been causally implicated in every disease of aging!  Ouch!  Want to stay healthy in old age?  You had better increase your Glutathione level and get your cellular system chugging along again on all eight cylinders.

Add to the above negative causes the heavy metals we ingest through fish and other food, the smoke and carcinogens we inhale through the air we breathe, or the cigarettes we, or others smoke, the stress we live with that depletes energy, and we can see the HEALTH CRISIS, the DOWNWARD HEALTH SPIRAL, we’re in personally and that creates greater and greater problems for us the longer we tolerate it.

But in this reality, with so much we can’t control, is there any hope of turning this negative situation around?  Unless I buy organic foods, I don’t know what’s in my foods, and even then my questions is, Can the organic farmer be trusted with his crops?

When I eat out at a Restaurant, how much bad stuff am I getting?  I think my water from my tap is healthy, but I’m not sure.  And I can’t drink bottled water because the plastics are toxifying my system.  What can I do?  My back is against the wall.  This seems like a total “Catch 22” situation for my health!

The Solution:
Get Your Glutathione Levels Up
to Where They Were When You Were 20!

But how can we do that practically?

To Answer This, Let’s Go Back
to That Unusual Event That Happened to Us

As I wrote earlier in this Report, we had an interesting thing happen to us.   I mentioned that our job is to provide care services for International Workers.  We use our home to host people coming and going to foreign countries.  They come to us for rest, relaxation, and restoration.  We coach them in their personal issues arising from their stressful and active international lives.

From Burnout in Africa to Subsequent Health

One worker who came to us is responsible for feeding orphans in an African country.  She lives in the bush, has created the system to feed over 1900 orphans, and does the fundraising work herself to keep those kids in bread.  In that process she puts up with tremendous daily heat from the sun, dodges black mambas, chases off lions from her complex, protects her warehouses from thieves, and hopes elephants don’t come too close.  Oh, and don’t forget the army ants that march through her house and complex periodically!  Besides that she must hire good local help and do the training as well as fight through self-serving bureaucracies to get kids fed.  Talk about a stressful life, and an awesome accomplishment!

Here’s how she describes her condition in her own words:

After 17 years of rugged living in the African bush, my muscles were badly inflamed, my energy levels were low, and I was not bouncing back from malaria like I once did.   Being an RN, I knew I was in serious trouble.  As the “mother” to 1,900 orphans, this had me very upset, because I knew my work in Africa was not completed.  I was taking high levels of vitamins and food supplements for the last 2 years, yet I had NO ENERGY after 2pm daily.  A 4-hour drive to our nearest city wiped me out for 2 days!   I was living on prescription anti-inflammatory drugs due to the shoulder and back injuries I’d suffered from 17 years of off road driving.  My doctor commented that it wasn’t my age, but my body’s “mileage” that was slowing me down.

She came to us several years ago almost totally burned out from all of that, as well as a weakened body of aches and pains due to 4 bouts with malaria.  After two weeks of rest, processing burnout issues, planning new strategies for survival and strength, she returned to her work.

Things went better, but she noticed that her energy was gone by 2 or 3 pm in the afternoon.   Then she’d retire and sleep or vegetate until early the next morning when she could get back out in the complex to keep things moving forward.

Two years ago she sensed that her time in Africa was ending.  She could simply not keep going in her physical condition any longer.  Moving back to the USA was the only course of action she could see.  This brought about tremendous grieving.  1900 orphans counting on her.  Now it must end.  What about the future for all those precious ones?

She came back to the USA to start implementing an exit strategy, and raise more money for the next batch of food.  At least she could feed the kids for one more year, even if she wasn’t there.

Fortunately she saw her chiropractic/neurological doctor early on in her time back.  After seeing her physical condition the doctor asked her to try a supplement that could possibly help her.  Desperate for anything that might help, she took the supplement.

The results were simply amazing.  Within 3 weeks, the burning in her lower back was gone.  Her energy levels were back to normal.  She was super energized again, feeling like her body clock had rolled back 20 years.

After 6 weeks, the massive shoulder pain that prescription anti-inflammatory drugs couldn’t eliminate was totally gone.   Then she caught the flu (not swine flu, but almost equally as bad) that was laying people up for 2 weeks.  Her body fought it off in 24 hours.

The positive upshot of all this is that she did go back to Africa and is still there expanding her work and feeding those children.

Here’s what she says about her physical condition and energy levels as a result of staying on this supplement:

After 5 months of taking this supplement, Eric (my assistant on the compound) and I have both noticed that we are less frustrated due to a decrease in our “forgetfulness”.  It’s great to be able to remember WHERE I put something when I walk into a room.  Other benefits noted are greater stamina and more daily energy that we both need in order to work 12-14 hour days trying to meet the needs of 1,941 kids.

Our Own Energy Levels Were also Boosted

Her story convinced us to try this supplement as well.  It’s also working for us.  My energy levels are decidedly higher.   Now I can work from 5:30am in the morning and still have a sharp mind, and energetic body at 9pm in the evening.  If I want to take a break during the day to relax, or even snatch a nap, I can do that.  If the press of my schedule, however, means I must work straight through, I’ve got the energy to do it without caffeine or anything else!

And I know that this supplement will help you as well – in more areas than you would initially think.

But what are the facts surrounding this unique Glutathione Accelerator?

Before I talk about this product, let me share one more personal thing about myself.

I am very serious about my health.  Why?  Because I realize that if my health goes, so does my quality-of-life to enjoy my life.  So I have lost weight, I exercise regularly – not by running the tri-athalon like a friend of mine -- but simply by taking a 1-2 mile walk four times each week, or workout on a treadmill during the winter.  I do some stretch exercises and I try to eat healthy foods.  I don’t have a radical diet, I just watch the types of foods I eat . . . and I watch how much I eat!  I pass up McDonald’s most of the time, and indulge occasionally.

And as I help people with their health issues, I’m only interested in helping those who are serious like me.

You have already received this Free Paper.  But since you have read to this point in my paper, I know you are serious about your health too!

Therefore I want to give you another Free Offer

Because you’re serious, I’m willing to give you a 1-week supply of the Glutathione Accelerator product I’ll describe below . . . if you are willing to pay $5.00 for my postage and handling costs WHEN you receive this product.
That’s a $21.25 value minus your $5.

I would also ask that you use the product in the way it’s prescribed.  If you don’t, it won’t help you.  And then you’ll think it’s not valuable – when actually it was your lack of discipline that denied you the power of it working in your life for the long-term!

So let’s make a deal!  I provide a one-week supply of the product to you for $5.  You take it as prescribed.  If you don’t, you refund me the $21.25.  How’s that?

One more thing:  You need to ask me to get this to you.  I’m not a mind-reader!  Please call me on my cell phone, (541) 647-4541, or send me an e-mail with your request: healthimpact4u@gmail.com

Why am I willing to offer this to you?

First of all because we know from experience that even one week of taking this product can make some positive changes in your body.  In fact that’s how this company got started – testing free 1-week samples with a variety of people.  The results were fantastic.  People wanted more because it helped them!  So if it helps you in just 1 week, then you will want to stay on the product and continue gaining on your health as well.

Staying on the Product benefits you – you become stronger, feel better, strengthen your immune system, and have more energy.

And Staying on the Product also benefits us.  First we get the satisfaction of knowing you are becoming healthier.  This may sound too altruistic, but the fact is that Sheri and I made a decision in our 20’s, at the start of our marriage, that we would be “givers” to people instead of “takers.”  Since that has been the MO (modus operandi) of our lives -- helping people in many different ways over our 40 years of marriage -- seeing you helped in your health issues brings us a personal inner reward.

But secondly, if this still sounds too altruistic, we also have another motive in this:  to benefit monetarily from this exchange.  We gain a commission on the product for each month you use it, because we introduced you to it.  This money helps fund us and our non-profit mission, which is vital in these economically stressed times.

So what is this Product we are offering you and how was it developed?

What is This Product
and How Was it Developed?

Over 15 years ago a Medical Doctor who started his career as a Research Scientist, and also holds a specialty in Immunology, was treating patients with HIV and various cancers.  With a drug regimen there was much he could do to arrest the affects of these diseases.  However, this did not contribute to a quality-of-life for his patients as they recovered.  This bothered him.

As he reviewed laboratory data on his patients, he noticed an unusual laboratory anomaly, low uric acid that continued to show up.  At first he dismissed that as a laboratory-generated error.  Eventually he decided to research its meaning.

After spending many hours on the database of the National Institutes of Medicine and the National Library of Medicine, he discovered that uric acid was used in the body as “the last line of defense” when all other antioxidants had been expended.

This led him to the question, “If this is the last line of defense of the body, might there be a first line of defense of the body, a primary or most important antioxidant in maintaining health and quality of life?”

After many false starts and blind alleys in his research, he had an epiphany!  He discovered Glutathione, and started his research using some of the 77,000 articles that had been published on that amino acid.

Besides discovering what a powerful and wonderful antioxidant Glutathione was, he also found out that the only treatment with Glutathione was intravenous in extreme need cases.  And when given this treatment, the value was a quick rush, much like an energy drink, and then the value was gone.  Nothing was sustained.

He also discovered that the pharmaceutical companies have spent billions of dollars to develop a glutathione producing/promoting drug, but to no avail.

So this doctor realized the tremendous need for a Glutathione accelerator to be produced that would be supplemental in nature and not drug based, since billions of dollars hadn’t produced one yet.

He noticed that there were attempts in the supplemental industry to create a Glutathione supplement.  But his research indicated that the Glutathione molecules themselves were too large to be taken into the cells.  Again, they might create an immediate “rush / value” in the bloodstream for a moment, but weren’t have an effect in the cells.  Back to the laboratory he went.

Over a period of 10 years, multiple formulas later, and a multitude of clinical tests, he created a patented formula that has demonstrated it will raise Glutathione levels in a person’s body by 290%!

This product is now available.  Both Sheri and I are taking it.  You’ve already heard how it’s affected us, as well as the International Worker in Africa.  Here are some more stories that indicate the supplement’s affects on various physical problems.

Nowhere is it stated that this product cures any disease or sickness.  What it does claim to do, and proves to do, based on clinical evidence, is raise the Glutathione levels in our bodies.  And as we have seen in this paper, creating healthier functioning of our various cells leads to all types of solutions to our aches, pains, diseases, and boosting our energy level.

I am 68 years of age.  I have always been in very good health, eat organically and am a competitive athlete enjoying a great deal of energy.  In 1995 I was run over by a car while practicing for a triathlon and had my leg crushed.  I was 4 years in phsyio, in and out of a wheelchair along with 3 operations.  The end result was – no more running, limited walking, leg could not fully extend and the pain of arthritis began.  I also suffered for many years with familial arthritis in my hands, twisted, swollen fingers along with 24/7 pain.  However, I became more and more depressed, had a total lack of energy, lost mental sharpness, and worried about becoming old faster than I wanted.

When I first took the glutathione supplement, within 3 days I returned to the vitality and drive that I always had.  My eyesight started strengthening, and I could drive at night without glasses.  My mental focus changed immediately from being depressed to one of excitement.  I have suffered with Restless Legs Syndrome and that was gone within a month.  The next to go was the pain of arthritis – it took 5 weeks.  Now my rings spin around on my fingers, no leg pain and I can enjoy lying down in bed.
